Here are some of our favourite ways of serving Gusstop Shakshuka

One of the best things about Gusstop Shakshuka is its versatility. Traditionally served for breakfast in the Middle East, Gusstop Shakshuka lets you enjoy a delicious brunch, lunch, or family dinner in minutes—perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Classic Shakshuka
For a classic Shakshuka, simply heat a generous splash of oil in a pan, add the Shakshuka, and bring it to a simmer. Crack two eggs per person on top, cover, and let it cook on low until the eggs are just set. In just five minutes, you’ll have a heartwarming gourmet dish that’s perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

  1. Just before serving, add crumbled feta and fresh coriander. Serve with your favourite bread (we recommend Gusstop Kitchen Sourdough!), gently warmed or toasted to soak up the richness of the sauce.
  2. Gently fry some chorizo or another spicy sausage for a minute or two before adding the Shakshuka to the pan. Finish with crumbled feta and coriander as above.
  3. For a vegan option, follow the traditional cooking instructions but replace the eggs with a can of drained chickpeas or tofu. Top with your favourite vegan cheese.
  4. For a satisfying Middle Eastern-style dinner, simmer lamb meatballs in the Shakshuka and serve with couscous, mint, and feta.
  5. Try chicken thighs wrapped in Parma ham, roasted in Shakshuka, and served with crusty bread, fresh herbs, and shaved parmesan—the Mediterranean meets the Middle East.
  6. Grill slices of eggplant and zucchini, then create stacks of alternating layers with mozzarella. Bake in Shakshuka for a deliciously rich and hearty dish.
